#1 by time – Claude
I think I’ve found a way to use it for most aspects of my life. Eating something? Better log that to my calorie and exercise tracker. Working? Hey Claude, check my proposal for errors. My washing machine broke? Claude, here are the symptoms… and boom, there’s how to fix it.
It meshes with my calendar, email, and Todoist to manage my schedule cohesively, and sends me reminders about tasks I need to do. It sends me a weekly agenda so I know what’s going on and keeps me from being such a forgetful mess. It’s helped me think through disagreements with my wife, and usually in such a way that I see my own errors more readily than I could have on my own.
Frankly I know there are naysayers. There’s people who would read that and think “your Claude usage is contributing to data centers gobbling up our drinking water”. There’s always resistance to change, and always reasons we come up with to support it, but I see AI as the future and I’m going to embrace it.

Also, #2 by time – BookPlayer
There’s almost always an audiobook playing in my earbud, unless I’m with someone else talking to them. I don’t have time to sit down and read how I used to, so being able to listen to audiobooks all day long great. It also keeps my mind off the more mind-numbing stuff – social media.
